travel theme: through

Tuesday, September 24:  Ailsa’s travel theme for this week is through.  In her post on Where’s my backpack?, she quotes George Bernard Shaw: “Better keep yourself clean and bright; you are the window through which you must see the world.”

I’ve seen a lot of beautiful sights through various windows, arches and doorways in my travels.  Here are just a few of them.

    • Thanks so much, Marianne. Sometimes when I look at my old pics of Oman, I miss it. And Spain and Portugal will be the last happy memory I will carry around with me, that is until I travel again! 🙂

    • Wow, Annette, I don’t know how I missed this long-ago comment. I have 16 blogs, but each one is regional, so once I leave a region, I don’t really post much on it any more. I look at them as travel diaries. I am going to start using my photography blog again, just for photos and photo challenges. 🙂
